ARTHUR BOSWELL DIES AT CANTON OF HEART ATTACK
MONMOUTH – Arthur Wilson Boswell, 52, well known interior decorator, 314 N. H St, died Sunday at 5AM at the Graham Hospital at Canton. He was on his way to Cuba Saturday to attend the memorial services there when he had a heart attack at Fairview. He was taken to the hospital at Canton where he died the next day.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2PM at the Turnbull Funeral Home with the Rev Harry Cochran in charge. Burial will be in the Monmouth Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel. The family will be there Tuesday from 730PM to 830PM.

Mr. Boswell was born July 6, 1890 at Bonner Springs, KS, and moved to Monmouth with his family when a year old. He attended Monmouth schools and married Florence Atkinson, July 18, 1918 at Freeport. He was a member of Monmouth Lodge No 27, AF and AM; lodge 30 of the RAM and of the Low Twelve Club. He was a foreman of the Hook and Ladder Co, of the Monmouth Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He belonged to the First Methodist Church.

Mr. Boswell had been an interior decorator the past 40 years, and was declared a perfectionist in his work.

Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mrs. Maude Montgomery; his brother Alonzo Boswell, and a nephew Lonnie Boswell, all of Monmouth.
